When researching glam services for my wedding, I saw many amazing artists with signature styles. Katty stood out to me with her neutral/natural glam aesthetic but also how well she did skin.
Her style has a natural glow that I knew I wanted for my wedding day. As a destination bride, I was nervous about communicating with vendors & services from a different country but from the moment I started communicating with Monse, I knew it would be a great experience.
We contracted 11 women for hair & makeup services and they also helped me find a hair stylist who fit the vision for my wedding day. The wedding day came and the services provided by Katty, Monse, Kahori, Oscar, Michelle were exceptional.
All of our hair and makeup turned out exactly as we wanted and lasted all night long! I couldn't recommend Beauty by Katty & her team enough!!

Katy and her team are amazing!!! I utilized their services for my engagement shoot in 2023 and my big day (my wedding) in 2024!! Being from Louisiana, we had to coordinate everything via what’s app and they made it a smooth process. Both times they were patient , nice and provided great customer service. Not being a make up girly, she listened to my concerns and understood my every need!! She really made me feel beautiful on both occasions and I still looked beautiful. For my engagement shoot I went for a more natural look as for my wedding I went for a more bridal glam look and both looks were flawless!! Thank you again!! Katty and her assistant Monse are the DREAM TEAM!! They traveled to the hotel for both the trial and day of the wedding. Katty did mine, my mom’s, mother-in-law’s and maid of honors makeup. Monse did the other girls makeup :) Weather in Mexico can be very unpredictable. Usually sunny and always some kind of humidity which makes it a bit more difficult for makeup to stay. On the day of the trial Katty asked my vision, I explained and she executed it EXACTLY as I had asked. She recommended I wear my makeup in the sun to see how it wore throughout the day as well as how it looked in different lighting. I am so happy she mentioned that because I had realized I didn’t love the color of my lipstick as much as I did in hotel lighting. She asked me to make notes so that she could adjust on the day of the wedding. On the morning of the wedding Katty and Monse were on time and in the best mood! They were calm which helped with all the excited nerves I was feeling. I let Katty know that I wanted a bit more of a pinky lip and she of course found the perfect shade! My makeup lasted from 11am until well after the wedding was over at about 8pm with me only needing some lip and powder touch ups (which she supplied me with!)
Monse also asked exactly what each girl wanted to ensure they felt their most beautiful.
Usually for wedding makeup someone has one complaint or another, but every single girl who got their makeup done loved it and was so happy it lasted through humidity, dancing and even a little rain sprinkle.

I found Beauty By Katty on Instagram about a year and a half ago and loved her work. I hired her to do my makeup for my wedding in May 2025 and we mostly communicated through email until the day got closer. Katty was very professional, quick to respond, and everything felt very easy.
I chose the bridal hair and makeup bundle with trial and she selected a hairstylist she trusted based on the style I was hoping for. I did the hair and makeup trial just before my rehearsal dinner, and loved my makeup so much I didn’t have any requested changes for the wedding day.
My request was to look like a more glam version of myself and Katty did just that! My husband said he loved it, the makeup lasted really well all night, and I felt so beautiful. Unfortunately, the glam wave hair style I had envisioned for my wedding day wasn’t the best for how straight my natural hair is and it died with the humidity but the stylist, Michelle, recommended some other options that would hold better for the wedding day. She told me from the beginning my hair might not hold and I appreciated her honesty and still wanted to test it out for the rehearsal dinner (for science purposes lol).
On the wedding day, Katty arrived early to the bridal suite with a team of another makeup artist and 2 hair stylists. She brought 3 people so my girls and I wouldn’t need to start the day super early which was definitely appreciated. They kept us all on the schedule we planned for the day and everyone was ready to go before 3pm just before the photographer arrived. Everyone loved their hair and makeup! My makeup lasted from 2pm to whenever I ended up taking it off..maybe around 3am? This was after a first look where I cried the whole time, a ceremony in the heat (I’m a sweaty person so I was worried about this), photos around the resort, the reception with dancing, after party with more dancing, and I wish I could have Katty glam me for every event I have in the future! She is amazing at her craft and 100% worth every penny I paid to bring her on site instead of using the hair and makeup option provided at the resort.
We did a different half up/ half down style for my hair on the wedding day which held better and also felt better to get some of my hair out of my face! Overall, it was an amazing experience with Beauty By Katty and the team she selected to assist her and I would recommend to anyone hoping to look and feel their best for a special event.
